Scott Greene is a trial lawyer with considerable experience as lead counsel for plaintiffs and defendants in litigation and arbitration. Additionally, since 1996, Mr. Greene has served actively as a commercial arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, serving as sole arbitrator, chair or panelist in dozens of commercial disputes. Mr. Greene recently relocated to the firm’s San Francisco Office to manage the growing commercial litigation practice.
In recent years, Mr. Greene has represented leading companies in industries such as energy, banking, technology, aviation, construction and real estate development.. He obtained a multi-million dollar jury verdict in a case involving co-generation equipment in 2010 and arbitration awards exceeding $75 million dollars involving power sales issues in 2003 and 2006. He regularly defends large financial institutions in cases challenging lending and foreclosure practices. The business disputes in these industries have ranged from claims of breach, tortious interference and fraud to issues of TILA, RESPA, defective work and products liability.
Mr. Greene is a frequent speaker at seminars for the State Bar of Georgia, corporate legal departments and industry groups. For example, from 2005 through 2009, he taught a two day trial evidence program for the Georgia Bar.
Mr. Greene became a member of the California Bar in 2011.

- Electric Energy Requirements Contract - Represented major U.S. energy company in three separate arbitration cases over seven years concerning a variety of issues arising from the largest power marketing contract in the energy industry
- Boiler, Scrubber and Related Equipment and Services – From 2005 through 2010, served as litigation coordinating counsel for family of nine companies related to their global business operations
- Serves as lead counsel for two large financial institutions in cases alleging predatory lending practices
- Residential Development - Serves as litigation coordinating counsel in Georgia for one of the nation’s largest homebuilding companies
- Charter Airline Contracts - Represents major cargo and passenger charter airline in its contract litigation and arbitration
- Energy Asset Development and Sale - Handled arbitration and litigation matters in various contract disputes
- Generators for Iraq - Represented global solutions company in federal court over supply of refurbished generators to post-war Iraq
