has experience in a wide range of complex commercial litigation and transactional matters. Mr. Lutz represents and counsels clients with respect to antitrust, construction, environmental, lien, real estate, and eminent domain matters. He has represented clients before the Arizona Supreme Court (and other state and federal courts and administrative bodies) in matters involving the proper exercise of zoning authority, eminent domain, valuation, construction defect, breach of contract, tax liens and other complex commercial disputes. In addition, Mr. Lutz has extensive experience advising clients with respect to construction contracting issues, vendor and sales agreements, acquisitions and regulatory matters.
Mr. Lutz also represents and counsels clients with respect to environmental litigation and Arizona water law. He has represented clients in state and federal court in cost recovery and coverage litigation, the Gila River Water Adjudication and in challenges to the improper use of ground and surface water by adjacent landowners. As part of his environmental practice, Mr. Lutz also advises clients with respect to regulatory oversight matters and water and land use issues.
Prior to joining Bryan Cave, Mr. Lutz practiced with a multi-national firm located in New York City.
