Rebecca Jelinek has general experience in complex commercial litigation, encompassing all aspects of the litigation process, including case strategy, pre-trial briefing, depositions, hearings, trial preparations, trial and appellate practice. She also has experience defending financial institutions against claims for breach of fiduciary duty and breach of trust. In addition, Ms. Jelinek has represented mortgage companies against claims for violation of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and common law claims for defamation and invasion of privacy, in connection with the servicing of loans. Ms. Jelinek’s practice also includes ERISA litigation. Prior to joining the firm, she served as judicial law clerk to the Hon. Tyler C. Lockett of the Kansas Supreme Court.
