Rick Cassetta’s practice focuses on complex litigation, including defense of corporate clients in individual product liability cases, mass tort actions, class action lawsuits, and lawsuits brought by governmental entities.
Mr. Cassetta has tried cases in state and federal court, and has argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He has represented pharmaceutical, automotive, tire, and other manufacturing companies in cases throughout the country. Mr. Cassetta was a member of the trial team in United States v. Philip Morris, one of the largest and most complex civil cases ever litigated.
In addition to his representation of manufacturing clients, Mr. Cassetta has represented small loan lenders in a consumer class action case and retailers and trade associations in lawsuits filed by federal, state, and local governments.
