Jennifer Donnelli has been involved in the prosecution and defense of complex contractual disputes between large companies, a number of which have involved allegations of fraud and misrepresentation.  Ms. Donnelli also represents several national banks and a number of real estate investment entities in various litigation matters, including prosecution of commercial foreclosures, obtaining the court appointment and directing the work of real estate receivers, defense of residential and commercial wrongful foreclosure claims, and defense of statutory claims under the Truth in Lending Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and various state consumer protection acts.  Ms. Donnelli is counsel to a national lender in a class action involving the Missouri Second Mortgage Loan Act.

Over the past several years, Ms. Donnelli has worked with clients to obtain dismissals of residential wrongful foreclosure claims and has obtained several summary judgment victories in judicial foreclosure actions, which have resulted in the favorable disposition of borrower claims against banks.  Ms. Donnelli frequently argues before state courts and has trial experience in real estate litigation.  She also counsels national banks on their residential foreclosure practices.

During law school, Ms. Donnelli served as literary editor on the Editorial Board of the UMKC Law Review and also served on the editorial staff of The Urban Lawyer.
