Ben Clark has been responsible for business litigation in courts throughout the United States for over 25 years. Since 1991, the bulk of his practice has been directed to first-chairing intellectual property lawsuits in the areas of patent, trademark, trade secret, domain name, software, copyright and antitrust. Mr. Clark has been counsel of record for clients such as American Express Co., Bellagio, LLC, BJC Health Systems Inc., Columbia Pictures, The Grateful Dead, Fleming Pharmaceuticals, International Mulch Co., Ixia, Jones Apparel Group, Lucasfilm Ltd., Maritz Inc., Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, Miller Electric Manufacturing Co., MiTek Industries, Motion Picture Association of America, Nine West Group Inc., Paramount Pictures, The Pasta House Company, St. Louis Rams, Saint Louis University, Sigma-Aldrich Co., Twentieth Century Fox, Universal Studios, and Warner Brothers Entertainment.

Mr. Clark is also an experienced federal court mediator, focusing on intellectual property disputes and other matters arising under commercial law.

As an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Mr. Clark was responsible for many notable federal criminal prosecutions, including the Bohemian Savings & Loan bank fraud and Businessmen's Venture pyramid tax scheme. He remains active in white collar criminal defense and has conducted several internal corporate investigations.

Mr. Clark has been a frequent writer and speaker on various aspects of the law, ethics and history. For several years he was a nationally syndicated writer on legal topics, under the name of Under Analysis, and also has written columns under the names of Unsolicited Remarks and Engaging People. His work has appeared on the editorial pages of major newspapers.
