Nicola Fiordalisi’s practice concentrates on the areas of corporate finance, mergers-acquisitions, joint-ventures and general corporate law as well as on international strategic planning and business growth.

Mr. Fiordalisi has advised hundreds of Italian based companies on the planning and establishment of their U.S. manufacturing and sales operations. He has also counseled multicultural corporations in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and venture capital transactions.

Mr. Fiordalisi has worked closely with both Italian and American clients in structuring their financial, commercial and investment transactions, mainly in the area of manufacturing, energy and biotechnology.

He is frequently asked to serve as an international arbitrator by the American Arbitration Association and the International Center for Dispute Resolution. He is an author and speaker on topics of international trade and the legal aspects of doing business in Italy and the United States. Mr. Fiordalisi is also an adjunct law Professor at Chicago Kent College of Law, where he teaches “Strategic Counseling to International Clients” (LLM Programs).

Mr. Fiordalisi serves as an Honorary Legal Adviser to the Italian Consul General of Chicago and as Honorary Legal Counsel to the Italian Trade Commission of Chicago. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Consiglio Generale degli Italiani all’Estero (CGIE) headquartered at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rome, Italy. Licensed to practice in the United States and in Italy, Mr. Fiordalisi received a Juris Doctor from both the University of Bologna and Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
