Nicholas Sloey is an associate in the firm’s Antitrust, Franchise and Consumer Law Group as well as the Sports, Sponsorship, and Event Venue Group. His practice focuses on compliance issues and litigation, including class action and complex commercial litigation. Mr. Sloey has represented companies involved in complex antirust litigation. He has also counseled clients in antitrust law compliance. He has experience handling matters before U.S. District Courts and U.S. Courts of Appeal.
Mr. Sloey graduated with honors from The George Washington University Law School where he was awarded the Jennie Hassler Walburn Award for outstanding performance in the field of civil procedure. He was also a member of the winning team of the Cohen & Cohen Mock Trial Competition. He received his B.A. in political science, with honors, from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, where he was a member of the men's baseball team.

Represented a financial company challenging an SEC regulation before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Represented a client pro bono before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit successfully challenging a decision of the Board of Immigration Appeals. Mr. Sloey presented oral argument in the case.
