Bryan Cave LLP Adds Partner in Irvine

Mark Mersel has joined the international law firm Bryan Cave LLP as a partner in the firm’s Irvine, Calif., office. He will practice with the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group.
Mersel’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, with emphasis on financial services, class action, securities, real estate and bankruptcy matters. He represents large and mid-sized corporations in complex business disputes in state and federal courts on matters concerning breach of contract, fraud, shareholder litigation and business torts. Mersel also has experience in real estate and landlord-tenant litigation. He represents the nation’s largest servicers of commercial mortgages in foreclosure, receivership, work-out and lender-liability matters.
Mersel received his J.D. in 1987 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and his B.S., magna cum laude, in 1984 from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Finance.
