New York Partners Healy and Koch Address New York Regional Economic Forum

May 29, 2012

The aim of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s New York Regional Economic Forum event is to bring together New York County Executives and key New York State decision makers to discuss regional economic development, including major infrastructure projects, and the importance of the Regional Economic Development Councils in driving economic opportunities and change on a country-wide scale. Held recently in New York, New York, the meeting included key contributions from two New York Bryan Cave attorneys.

New York Partner J. Kevin Healy spoke on a panel on how collaborative partnerships with anchor institutions are spearheading regional growth.

Healy has practiced environmental and land use law for more than 35 years. He represents parties in regulatory and permitting matters under the Clean Air Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the Clean Water Act and other federal, state and city environmental statutory programs; provides counsel on the environmental aspects of real estate developments; and participates in environmental audits and impact reviews.

New York Partner Ed Koch delivered the luncheon address. Koch served three terms as New York City's mayor from 1978 to 1989 and practices in the regulatory area.
