Appel Speaks at NYU Summer Institute in Taxation

New York Counsel Alan Appel will serve as a speaker at this year’s NYU Summer Institute in Taxation, set for July 16-27.
Appel first will speak July 24 on “Case Studies for Outbound and Inbound Investment” at the Introduction to International Taxation Conference. July 26, he will address the topic of “Foreign Persons Investing in U.S. Real Estate: Partnership and Other Structures, Opportunities and Traps” at the Advanced International Taxation Conference.
Appel focuses his practice in international and domestic tax planning involving taxation of mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, limited liability companies and tax controversy.
The institute will take place at the Westin New York at Times Square. The event is sponsored by New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
