Prospects, Problems for UN Sanctions Discussed

George Tan, director of Asia export controls with Bryan Cave International Consulting, will outline the implementation of UN sanctions as they apply to export controls at “Implementing Sanctions: Prospects and Problems,” set for April 12-13 at the Shangri-La hotel in Singapore. Other speakers will include authorities from the United Nation, local government and consulting firms.

The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) is organizing this workshop, which will highlight multilateral and unilateral sanctions, including sanction on Iran and Syria. The event will provide a platform for open discussion on the issues impacting UN sanctions implementation in a number of key industries.
