Naming Rights, Promotional and Other Sponsorship Agreements; Telecast and Other Media Agreements

  • Represented Citigroup, Inc. in negotiating the $400 million naming rights agreement for Citi Field with the New York Mets (currently the largest known naming rights deal in history based on the amount of annual payments)
  • Represented AEG in negotiating a 15 year agreement to rename the London Millennium Dome to the “O2” (believed to be the largest naming rights deal in the world at the time based on annual payments)
  • Represented the St. Louis Blues Hockey Club and its affiliates in connection with their arena naming rights agreement for the Scottrade Center and opera house naming rights agreement for the Peabody Opera House and various promotional and other sponsorship agreements
  • Represented the City of Kansas City in the sale of naming rights for the recently opened Sprint Center
  • Represented Edward Jones & Company in the purchase of naming rights for the Edward Jones Dome, home of the St. Louis Rams of the National Football League
  • Represented the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the St. Louis Blues Hockey Club in connection with their respective telecast rights agreements with FOX Sports
  • Represented private party in connection with a naming rights agreement for an NCAA college basketball facility
  • Represented various entertainment clients in connection with arena, venue and sponsorship agreements
  • Represented the X PRIZE Foundation in connection with several significant sponsorship deals with Google, Archon, Progressive Insurance and Cisco, among others
  • Represented Cost Plus World Market in its branding and sponsorship transactions ranging from concerts to major Hollywood feature film co-promotion
