Nafiz Cekirge graduated from Columbia University in 1997 with a B.A. in Philosophy. Upon graduation, Mr. Cekirge attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. During law school, he was an articles editor for the Cardozo Arts and Entertainment Law Journal and a judicial intern for Justice Ira Gammerman of the New York Supreme Court, Commercial Division. Mr. Cekirge received his J.D., cum laude, from Cardozo in 1999 and was also a member of the Order of the Coif.
Prior to joining Bryan Cave's Los Angeles office, Mr. Cekirge practiced in New York, first with an international law firm, and later with a prestigious litigation boutique. He focuses his practice on mortgage litigation, commercial litigation, white collar defense, mass torts and class action defense. Mr. Cekirge has defended major companies and high net worth individuals in a variety of business disputes, SEC and DOJ investigations and product defect and environmental tort litigations.
