Mariangela (Merili) Seale’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and counseling, as well as commercial litigation matters in both federal and state courts.
Her litigation experience includes patent infringement, trademark and service mark infringement, trade secret issues, copyright infringement, contract disputes, breach of warranty actions, and other matters. Ms. Seale’s experience ranges from large multi-party cases worth millions of dollars to small single-party claims. Ms. Seale has directed, coordinated, and managed case strategy and activities with clients and codefendants.
Ms. Seale services clients at the forefront of a wide variety of industries, including medical simulation, cell phones, electronics and computers, entertainment, manufacturing, food and beverages, home goods, and music.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Seale also has experience with the adoption, use, prosecution and enforcement of trademarks and service marks. Ms. Seale regularly advises clients on the availability of trademarks for use and registration, and negotiates and prepares intellectual property agreements.
