Mark Paskar concentrates primarily in the areas of trademark, copyright and Internet matters. He is involved in counseling clients on a wide range of intellectual property issues and has experience in all aspects of the preparation and prosecution of trademark and service mark applications, both before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and foreign trademark authorities. Mr. Paskar regularly represents clients in inter partes proceedings before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board as well as in foreign opposition and cancellation proceedings. He also represents clients in state and federal court cases involving claims of trademark, service mark and trade dress infringement, patent infringement, false designation of origin, unfair competition, cyber-squatting and copyright infringement. Mr. Paskar has handled almost 40 Internet domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP). Mr. Paskar is also involved in the licensing and assignment of all types of intellectual property assets and performs intellectual property due diligence and agreement negotiation for various transactional matters.
