Our People


Bryan Cave’s Life Sciences and Health Care Client Service Group is a diverse, multi-disciplinary team comprised of approximately 50 attorneys and policy advisors firm-wide. The attorneys in Bryan Cave’s Life Sciences and Health Care Client Service Group have academic and professional backgrounds in business, accounting, finance, health care planning and management, and attorneys with advanced degrees and/or industry experience in the fields of bio– and organic chemistry, molecular and cellular biology, and plant genetics. Our team also includes attorneys who have worked for state and federal governmental agencies and, as such, have practical experience in drafting, interpreting and enforcing laws and regulations that matter to clients in the life sciences and health care industry. Our attorneys are active in the life sciences and health care industry and are frequently asked to take leadership roles on issues affecting the industry, including economic development, legislative and ethics. By working closely with leaders in research, business, and the political arena, we are able to provide our clients with knowledgeable counsel, industry insight and strategic contacts.

Bryan Cave has particularly broad experience with home care and related alternate site providers focusing on patient care and coordination outside a hospital setting. We have counseled hospitals and integrated health delivery systems on the establishment of home care service capability as a further extension of the continuum of care for those organizations. We represent on an ongoing basis home care companies (including home infusion, specialty pharmacy and RT/DME suppliers), both privately owned and publicly traded. We regularly address relationships between for-profit home care providers and not-for-profit hospitals and integrated delivery systems.
