St. Louis Partner and former Sen. John Danforth and St. Louis Associate Christan Shelton will be honored Aug. 26 at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri’s For the Common Good Annual Awards Reception.
Sen. Danforth will receive the Chubb Award, named in memory of Robert Walston Chubb (1894-1977), an attorney with Lewis, Rice, Tucker, Allen & Chubb (now Lewis, Rice & Fingersh). He helped initiate the Legal Aid Society (now known as Legal Services of Eastern Missouri) and continued to help the program until his death in 1977.
