Katherine Lemley concentrates her practice in real estate litigation, with a focus upon eminent domain, administrative tax appeals and land use planning and enforcement. Lemley’s eminent domain experience includes representation of condemning authorities and property owners in Missouri and Illinois. The eminent domain cases with which Ms. Lemley has been involved include total and partial takings of commercial, multi-family, single family, industrial, railroad and special use properties. Ms. Lemley’s administrative tax appeal work includes appeals of real and personal property assessments before local and state authorities in Missouri and Illinois. Ms. Lemley’s land use practice includes working on behalf of land owners with local and state authorities on permitting and planning and zoning issues as well as defending land owners in land use enforcement actions and tax sale disputes.
