Katina Austin practices labor and employment, product liability, and commercial litigation in state and federal courts. Ms. Austin's experience encompasses all aspects of litigation, including drafting and arguing motions, directing discovery, preparing witnesses, and participating in trials and appeals. Ms. Austin has counseled employers in employment issues and defended employers against employment discrimination claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Illinois Human Rights Act.  She has also advised and defended clients with respect to breach of contract claims, negligence claims, wrongful death claims, and other tort claims.
