The firm-wide Library and Research Services Department of Bryan Cave exemplifies our "One Firm" philosophy.  The Library staff members of all the offices are true colleagues.  From our firm-wide Library database uniting our resources to our extended reference hours which provide research for lawyers from London to Santa Monica regardless of time zone constraints, we all strive to provide excellent support to the practice areas of all Bryan Cave attorneys.  A unified Library enables us to cost-effectively implement database resources, share traditional library materials without unnecessary duplication, regularly confer with each other and learn from the subject area knowledge of a specific office, provide assistance to the less fully staffed office libraries through e-mail and telephone research initiatives, and work closely with our Marketing Department on firm-wide competitive intelligence issues.  We are able to address the research needs of our specific offices while simultaneously networking with our colleagues for the success of the firm.  Such a close, collaborative culture ensures a high level of professional enrichment.  Equally important, we not only have professional colleagues but good friends around the world.
