Judith Gallent is the head of the firm's Land Use Team. She is responsible for zoning and land use matters involving all aspects of development, including zoning counseling, environmental impact review of real estate projects, air rights transfers, obtaining special permits, variances, and rezonings, and litigating land use matters involving all of these areas, with a particular emphasis on matters arising under the New York City Zoning Resolution. Her clients include private developers, both large and small, institutions, public authorities and municipalities. She has served as zoning and planning counsel for the Town of Mamaroneck and successfully represented the Town in constitutional litigation challenging a rezoning of property to a recreation classification.

Ms. Gallent has served on the Land Use Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. She was a partner at Robinson Silverman (which  merged with Bryan Cave in 2002). Following law school, Ms. Gallent served as a law clerk to the Hon. John M. Walker, Jr., first on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and then on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
