Jennifer Berhorst specializes in commercial and employment litigation. Ms. Berhorst’s litigation practice includes all aspects of the litigation process, including case strategy, motion practice, depositions, court hearings and pre-trial preparations. Ms. Berhorst has a wide range of commercial litigation experience representing clients in contract disputes, consumer banking actions, commercial foreclosures and related actions, negligence actions, general business and contract disputes and claims of fraud. Ms. Berhorst’s employment litigation experience includes defending employers against claims of race, gender and age discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations in state and federal court. In addition, Ms. Berhorst has assisted in advising and counseling clients on various labor and employment matters.
Ms. Berhorst also does pro bono work, including having obtained favorable immigration status for victims of human trafficking and successfully represented numerous clients in obtaining guardianship of minors they care for.
