Jane Arnold focuses her practice on transactional and regulatory matters affecting health care providers. In addition to providing general corporate and compliance advice to clients in the health care industry, Ms. Arnold provides structuring and operational advice with an eye to compliance with the Federal Anti-Kickback and Physician Self-Referral ("Stark") statutes. Ms. Arnold also routinely handles licensure and certification matters, both in the course of company operations and in connection with acquisitions. She also advises clients with respect to payor audits and regulatory compliance matters.
Among the clients to which she provides advice are non-profit corporations, general business corporations (both closely held and publicly traded) and limited liability companies. Clients for which she has significant responsibility include a Fortune 50 company in the pharmacy and home infusion industries, a national supplier of home medical equipment, hospitals and health systems (both for-profit and non-profit), a private equity fund and its healthcare industry portfolio companies, numerous national and regional home infusion and home health companies, and several trade associations.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Arnold served as projects director and policy advisor to Congressman Richard A. Gephardt. In that capacity, she advised the congressman on various economic development, defense and judiciary issues.
