John Schaperkotter’s practice involves all phases of estate and trust planning including federal estate tax practice, estate administration and personal planning. This includes asset transfers and restructuring, tax planning, life insurance, partnerships and gift planning. One of his areas of special focus is the representation of family businesses, in particular, succession planning. He also has been involved in the purchase and sale of a number of business interests. Mr. Schaperkotter also advises a number of charitable organizations and is actively involved in charitable tax planning.
