J.D. Moore is experienced with all methods of procuring or selling construction services and represents owners, developers, design professionals, contractors, sub-contractors and insurance/bond/surety companies. Matters routinely include drafting and negotiating construction contracts and all aspects of mediation, arbitration and both state and federal civil trial practice. As a litigator, Mr. Moore has significant experience with non-construction disputes. Whether during transactions or dispute resolution, Mr. Moore's substantial construction and negotiations experience makes him an effective client representative and arbitrator.
During law school, Mr. Moore received numerous trial practice and leadership awards, served as editor-in-chief of the UMKC Law Review, was a member of UMKC's National Trial Team and a member of the school's ABA Negotiation Team. Prior to law school, he operated a construction business gaining experience with real estate development, residential, commercial and oil field construction. He brings more than 20 years of practical construction experience to his growing national legal practice.
