Ivan Schonfeld advises clients on land use regulation and development in New York City and assists them in obtaining zoning changes, special permits, variances and other discretionary actions from the city’s various land use regulatory agencies. Trained as a city planner, Mr. Schonfeld brings wide-ranging experience and expertise in zoning, land use, urban design and community relations to his position. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for the New York City Department of City Planning, where he led a team of planners in managing rezoning actions, development projects and planning studies. Mr. Schonfeld’s master's degree is in city and regional planning.
