Harold Blatt’s practice focuses primarily on corporate tax planning, including reorganization planning, IRS National Office matters, tax controversies and a broad range of executive/employee benefit matters, executive compensation, stock options and equity-based incentive compensation, qualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans. He also counsels public and private companies on general business matters. He serves on the Board of Directors of The Barnes-Jewish Hospital of St. Louis (chairman, 1983-1988); Artex International, Inc.; Drury Industries, Inc.; Senior Assist, Inc.; and BJC, Inc. He recently completed service on the boards of Webster University, Washington University Medical Center and The Sheldon Foundation. Mr. Blatt was resident manager of the firm’s Chicago office from 2001-2004 and was lead partner in the London office from 1998-2000.
