George Murray’s practice focuses on corporate real estate services as well as the structuring, implementation and financing of real estate projects, both public and private, and including warehouse, manufacturing and distribution facilities, office and research parks, mixed-use development, regional malls, and sports and entertainment complexes. His experience covers land acquisition and assembly, office, retail, retirement home, hotel, apartment, industrial and residential subdivision development, zoning and land use planning, public finance (including tax increment financing and public grants, credits and incentives), urban redevelopment, construction lending, sale leasebacks and mortgage lending as well as equity participations. Mr. Murray has represented individuals, joint ventures, general and limited partnerships, limited liability companies, private and public corporations, venture capital funds, publicly traded master limited partnerships and REITs. He also maintains a significant practice in corporate and business finance, including leveraged leasing and other forms of off balance sheet financing, structured finance, working capital lines of credit, revolving credit and term loan facilities, asset-based loans and loan purchases and sales. He handles financings in connection with workouts, bankruptcies and reorganizations on behalf of debtors and creditors, and generally represents both commercial borrowers as well as banking syndicates and other institutional investors, bringing a sense of perspective and context to complex development and financing transactions.
