Gabriel Gore practices in the areas of general civil litigation and white-collar defense. He has represented and counseled clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters involving antitrust claims, First Amendment claims, Securities and Exchange Commission defense, breach of contract claims and products liability defense. Clients have included Fortune 500 companies and high-ranking members of the executive and legislative branches of federal government.
Mr. Gore also has represented clients in a variety of white-collar defense matters including criminal prosecutions and grand jury investigations involving allegations of securities fraud, accounting fraud, immigration violations, environmental crime, drug enforcement agency violations and Medicare and Medicaid fraud. He was a member of the trial team that successfully represented a former CEO of a Fortune 200 company in an eight-month jury trial involving allegations of securities fraud and insider trading.
Following law school, Mr. Gore clerked for the Hon. John R. Gibson, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit during the 1994-1995 term. From 1995-1999, he served as an assistant United States attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri. As an AUSA, Mr. Gore tried numerous cases and argued a number of cases before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
From 1999-2000, Mr. Gore served as an assistant special counsel for the John C. Danforth Office of Special Counsel. As an assistant special counsel, Mr. Gore played an integral role in the investigation into the deaths of Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gore was with the Washington, D.C., law firm of Williams and Connolly LLP.
