Fred Sgroi focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. His experience is broad and varied, having represented clients in matters involving business torts, breach of contract, antitrust, and other types of commercial disputes in all aspects of the litigation and alternate dispute resolution process, including case strategy, depositions, hearings, trial, and appeal.
Mr. Sgroi has also represented clients in a variety of other matters, such as dealing with state and federal regulatory agencies and conducting internal investigations, and has counseled clients on a wide variety of legal and compliance issues.
Mr. Sgroi was previously vice president-law at a Fortune 100 corporation, where he led in succession the commercial litigation, mergers and acquisitions, and marketing and sales operations support sections of its legal department. He formerly served on the board of directors for numerous Kansas City organizations, including the Unicorn Theatre, the Center for Management Assistance, and Kansas City Public Television KCPT 19.
