Forty at Fifty Judicial Pro Bono Recognition 2009
April 20, 2010
Bryan Cave’s Washington office was praised recently by chief judges of the federal district and appellate courts for its dedication to providing
pro bono legal services in 2009. The seventh annual “Forty at Fifty Judicial Pro Bono Recognition” breakfast was held on Tuesday, April 13, in the atrium of the E. Barrett Prettyman U.S. Courthouse.
Bryan Cave was one of 31 firms honored this year. Chief Judge David Sentelle of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and Chief Judge Royce Lamberth of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia spoke glowingly of the 31 firms at which 40 percent of the attorneys provided 50 or more hours of individual
pro bono service in 2009.
