Douglas King
regularly tries cases and argues appeals in both the state and federal courts in Missouri. He has served as lead trial counsel in jury trials in the U.S. District Court in St. Louis as well as in the Missouri Circuit Courts for the City of St. Louis, St. Louis County and Jefferson County. He also has tried many non-jury cases in the state and federal courts in Missouri as well as arbitrations administered by the AAA, AHLA, and Arbitac. He has argued appeals in the Missouri Court of Appeals, Missouri Supreme Court and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and frequently is involved in appeals in the other federal circuits and other state appellate courts. His cases include a wide variety of complex business and commercial disputes. Mr. King has also defended more than fifty consumer class actions in state and federal courts spread across at least twenty different states.
