Mr. Hall concentrates in financial institutions law where he assists with TARP compliance, securities compliance, proxy solicitations, de novo financial institutions, and holding company organization. Mr. Hall also provides necessary support to his team when advising financial institutions on regulatory compliance, and commercial and private lending. He has assisted numerous clients with TARP Capital Purchase Program transactions and continues to advise those clients regarding ongoing compliance, including, in particular, compliance with the executive compensation limitations.
During law school, Mr. Hall was involved in several law-related activities and received numerous awards and honors. He was the Chairperson of the Law Review By-Laws Committee, in 2007. Additionally, Mr. Hall spent time as both a research assistant for a corporate and securities law professor and a teaching assistant for a legal research and writing professor.
Mr. Hall received the Florida Law Review Book Award (2008), the Frank E. Maloney Award for Best Note (2007), the Gertrude Brick Award for Outstanding Law Review Candidate (2007), and the Book Award for Legal Research and Writing (2005). Additionally, he was listed on the Dean’s List every semester during law school and received the Ralph D. Bailey Memorial Scholarship (2005-2008) and the Kimmel and Associates Grant for Students in Construction (2005-2008).
