Dennis Fleischmann is one of the four members of the Management Committee and serves as its Chair.  The Management Committee manages the day to day worldwide operations of the Firm.  He previously served as the Managing Partner of the Firm’s New York Office and also served on the Firm’s Executive Committee.  He is a  commercial litigator practicing in state and federal courts and before various administrative agencies. He represents clients in all phases of litigation from initial investigations through trials and appeals. Mr. Fleischmann frequently represents financial institutions in complex banking and business litigation, including class actions involving securities claims, fraud, lender liability and RICO violations. He has considerable experience in protecting secured lenders’ rights, including actions to enforce loan agreements and the foreclosure of real estate and non-real estate collateral. As counsel for corporate trustees, he litigates actions to protect and enforce the rights of bondholders. He also defends actions brought against corporate trustees involving claims under the Trust Indenture Act, claims for breach of fiduciary and breach of contract. His litigation practice also includes the defense of actions involving real estate, business torts and restrictive business covenants. Mr. Fleischmann’s litigation practice encompasses the representation of clients in connection with civil and criminal investigations brought by various government agencies. He assists clients in the conduct of internal investigations involving sensitive business matters. As a corollary to his litigation practice, Mr. Fleischmann becomes involved in issues arising under directors and officers liability insurance as well as fidelity bonds.

Mr. Fleischmann also has experience in representing corporate clients in actions based on claims of breach of fiduciary duty and misappropriation of confidential business information.
