Daniel Rockey is senior counsel in the firm's San Francisco office practicing in the litigation and intellectual property, technology and media departments. Mr. Rockey represents companies and individuals in the technology sector, focusing primarily on privacy matters and brand protection strategies, including trademark, copyright, domain name and false advertising enforcement and litigation. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional and has deep knowledge and experience in the areas of privacy and data security, intellectual property, antitrust, unfair business practices, securities and consumer class action litigation.

Mr. Rockey is a frequent speaker on matters relating to privacy and data security, brand protection strategies and developments in internet law and litigation. He is also the author of numerous articles concerning developments in the areas of privacy and internet law, including recent articles concerning legislative efforts to regulate online behavioral marketing, recent FTC enforcement matters and developments in civil litigation concerning internet law and privacy.
