Dale Guariglia practices exclusively in the areas of environmental and occupational safety law. He has experience in environmental, safety and health compliance, enforcement and litigation. He has represented clients from a broad range of industries, including chemical, biotechnology, mining, pulp and paper production, pipeline, pesticide production, various manufacturing, agriculture, gas and electric utilities, petroleum, ammonia/nitrogen production, real estate development and finance. He also has served as temporary in-house environmental counsel for three separate multi-billion dollar companies. Mr. Guariglia’s experience includes counseling and enforcement defense on matters involving Superfund, RCRA, TSCA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, FIFRA, wetlands, spill reporting, underground storage tanks, asbestos, toxic torts, OSHA and SARA Title III. He has defended clients in Clean Water Act and EPCRA citizen suits and has negotiated consent decrees for CERCLA remediations and RCRA corrective actions. He has also counseled clients and defended actions brought by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) related to the shipment of hazardous materials. He has performed environmental audits and has counseled clients on environmental issues in connection with corporate mergers and acquisitions, brownfields development, real estate transactions and foreclosures. Mr. Guariglia is also a frequent lecturer and author on environmental issues.
