- Represented Missouri general contractor against architect and engineer for design defects and breach of standard of care and defend same against delay and impact claims in Missouri and Kansas state court litigation.
- Represented owner against more than a dozen subcontractors regarding massive asphalt failure and noncompliant infrastructure design for residential development and resolve disputes with same in Kansas state court action.
- Represented Iowa owner/developer of senior living facility against millions in unsubstantiated and undocumented change order claims submitted by construction manager and general contractor on project in Minnesota.
- Represented Kansas developer in state court action against subcontractors and material supplies regarding failed concrete in construction of multi-unit apartment complex in Kansas state court.
- Counseled nationwide developer regarding numerous design and construction-related agreements, construction administration issues, and disputes concerning senior living and low income apartment projects in various jurisdictions.
- Represented Missouri foundation and soil-stabilization company in disputes with homeowners regarding contractual compliance in Kansas and Missouri state court actions.
- Represented national property management company in mediation and arbitration against general contractor for recovery of damages due to construction defects and mold in California mediation, state court action, and arbitration.
- Advised Mexican developer regarding methods of procuring design and construction services, construction-related agreements, and insurance matters in connection with development of 85 ocean-front residences and related infrastructure and improvements in Mexico.
- Represented developer in connection with structuring, documentation, and negotiation of numerous design and construction-related agreements, construction administration issues, and insurance matters for mixed-use and residential projects, including a new 16-story mixed-use building in New York.
- Represented two of the nation’s largest home builders in connection with construction agreements and administration insurance matters and statutory compliance for projects throughout Arizona and California.
- Represented developer in connection with procurement of construction-related services and preparation of transactional documents for the design and construction of a twin-tower, single-podium residential condominium building in New York.
- Represented landowner group in protest to zoning and rezoning of adjacent properties and in challenge against Missouri county regarding improperly permitted improvements.
