  • Represented provider of performance-based energy savings features to a California university against subcontractors for breach of contract, failure to provide notice of claims, unforeseen or changed site conditions and failure to comply with contract provisions regarding change orders in California state court action and Kansas arbitration.
  • Prosecuted claims against county owner on behalf of excavation contractor for breach of contract on street improvement project and prompt pay statutes in Missouri state court.
  • Represented the State of New York regarding preparation and negotiation of design and construction-related agreements concerning renovation of the James A. Farley Post Office, projected to become the busiest intermodal passenger terminal in the United States.
  • Advised and counseled Missouri municipality regarding construction defects and failure to comply with ADA requirements in construction of city hall, police headquarters, and fire station, and negotiated agreement for remedial measures with United States Department of Justice.
  • Represented Missouri school district in negotiations, documentation, and administration of contracts for elementary, junior high, and high schools; represented district in state court lawsuit against design team for defective construction; represented district in claims against surety; represented district in state court actions against various contractors and subcontractors for breach of contract; defended district against prompt pay claims and delay and impact claims in Missouri.
  • Advised and represented charitable foundation in connection with contracts for a new grand staircase at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (Gateway Arch) in Missouri.
  • Represented various entities regarding design, construction, and development of major downtown entertainment district in Missouri.
  • Represented large private investor in a $600 million build-operate-transfer project involving renovation and expansion of Queen Alia International Airport near Jordan.
  • Represented Illinois school district in documentation of all program management, design and construction contracts, negotiation, and documentation of a project labor agreement and advice regarding design and construction in connection with implementation of a $55 million capital improvement program involving the construction of new schools and renovation of existing facilities in Illinois.
