Charles Avigliano's practice focuses on patent law with an emphasis on patent prosecution, patent litigation, right-to-use and infringement studies, validity and enforceability studies, and due diligence studies for the purchase or sale of intellectual property assets. Mr. Avigliano spends a significant portion of his time on chemical patent matters, including in the areas of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, polymer technology, and cosmetics.
Mr. Avigliano has successfully represented clients in proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has prosecuted strategically important patent applications, reexaminations, and appeals.
Mr. Avigliano received his undergraduate degree in biology from Hofstra University and his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law.
