Carrie Herrick is an associate in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation client service group. Her practice focuses on a wide variety of compensation and benefits matters, including retirement plans and health and welfare plans. In her retirement plan practice, she assists clients in seeking determination letters, correcting plan failures, drafting plan amendments, achieving nondiscrimination testing compliance and drafting participant disclosures. Ms. Herrick's health and welfare practice includes designing and operating ERISA group health plans, Section 125 cafeteria plans and severance plans. Additionally, she regularly counsels clients on compliance issues associated with COBRA, FMLA and HIPAA. Prior to her legal career she was a professional fundraiser for tax-exempt organizations.
