Beth Harris practices primarily in the area of labor and employment. Her practice includes advising clients with workforce management, handbooks and policy manuals, and the requirements of federal and state law such as the Family Medical Leave Act, Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act, and similar Illinois and Missouri laws. She advises clients with issues such as severance agreements and workforce reductions under both the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act and the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act. Her practice includes representing clients in a variety of employment related issues in administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Missouri Human Rights Commission, and the Illinois Commission on Human Rights. Ms. Harris also represents clients in litigation proceedings for claims such as age discrimination, race discrimination, and disability accommodation or discrimination, in the areas of discovery, trial strategy and preparation, motions, and depositions.
