We are pleased to announce the combination of
Powell Goldstein LLP into Bryan Cave LLP, effective
Jan. 1, 2009.

Bryan Cave and Powell Goldstein have long traditions of building strong relationships – both with clients and within our firms. That common perspective provides an important foundation for the combined firm.

Founded in 1909, Powell Goldstein has approximately 210 lawyers in offices in Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Dallas, and Charlotte. We already share a number of clients, allowing us to further strengthen those relationships. In addition to strong corporate and litigation practices, Powell Goldstein represents more than 300 community and regional banks located in more than 25 states. It also has a leading real estate finance practice.

Bryan Cave’s history includes more than 135 years of dedication to serving our clients. Our clients span the globe and include a wide range of leading businesses, financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations, government entities and individuals. Our hallmark always has been the vision to find new and innovative ways to deliver the highest quality legal services. We welcome Powell Goldstein clients to Bryan Cave, and commit all of our global resources to meeting your needs.

For all of our clients, this combination brings increased capabilities we have put to work for you. We now have more than 1,200 lawyers and other professionals in 25 offices around the globe with a single vision: dedication to our clients. Our new office in Atlanta, where the firm is initially practicing under the name Bryan Cave Powell Goldstein, has approximately 145 lawyers with a broad and deep base of legal experience. We also have new Bryan Cave offices in Dallas, and Charlotte, both areas where our clients’ needs can be well served. Our Washington, D.C., office is nearly double in size, adding lawyers with specialty areas in tax, health care, regulatory and other key areas.
