Benchmark Top 250 Women in Litigation

St. Louis Partner Bettina Strauss has been selected for inclusion in the inaugural edition of Benchmark Top 250 Women in Litigation. The women featured in this edition were selected from their respective states’ roster of local litigation stars in the 2012 edition of parent publication Benchmark Litigation, where Strauss is also named as a “litigation star” in the national rankings.

Strauss, leader of the firm’s Product Liability Client Service Group, focuses her practice on the defense of companies facing liability in connection with products in all types of proceedings including consolidated actions, MDL proceedings and class actions. She has extensive experience in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. She also has defended automotive litigation for the entirety of her career. Strauss has a national practice, defending cases in state and federal courts across the country from New Jersey to California.

Benchmark is the only publication on the market to focus exclusively on litigation in the U.S. The guide’s results are the culmination of a six-month research period that allows researchers to conduct interviews with litigators and their clients. During these interviews, they examine recent casework handled by the firms and ask sources to offer their professional opinions on litigators practicing within their state or national practice areas.
