Chambers & Partners has recognized two Bryan Cave partners, one associate and one group in Chambers Global 2012.

Each year, Chambers researchers conduct thousands of interviews with lawyers and clients worldwide to compile their rankings. The publication ranks law firms and individual lawyers in “bands” from one to six, with one being the best.

London Partner Dyke Arboneaux is ranked in Band 2 for her international private client work. She also is ranked in Band 3 and recognized as a “foreign expert” for her private client work in the United Kingdom section of the publication. The publication notes that Arboneaux “is a very well-regarded practitioner with expertise in international estate planning and US tax matters.” Interviewees highlight that “she is very knowledgeable, very client-friendly and great to work with.” Also, they note that she has a “great reputation and is incredibly able and well liked in her area.”

Santa Monica Partner Ken Costello is ranked in Band 3 for his franchise work. The publication highlights Costello as “widely regarded for his experience in the sector. He advises a host of USA-based clients on the international expansion of their franchises, and also handles a large volume of work on behalf of foreign companies establishing US operations.”

In addition, the Franchise & Distribution Law Team itself is ranked in Band 3 and is noted for its “experienced team…[that] is regularly retained by clients to advise on the expansion of their business operations and related franchising issues across Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Its client roster includes various prestigious names from the restaurant, vehicle hire and fashion industries.”

London Associate Philipp Koverchenko is ranked in Band 4 and is recognized as an “expert based abroad” for his dispute resolution work in the Russia section of the publication. Also, he is recognized as a “foreign expert” for his dispute resolution work in the United Kingdom section of the publication. The publication notes that he “is regularly instructed in complex cross-border disputes, particularly those with a CIS element.”
