Foundation for Improvement of Justice Award

Bill Custer has been honored by the Foundation for Improvement of Justice, Inc. for his work in freeing pro bono client, Joshua Hames, from prison. Hames would have served a life sentence for the accidental and tragic death of his brother in a hunting accident.
Bill will receive the Foundation for Improvement of Justice's award, which includes a medal and a monetary prize. He will be honored at an awards banquet to be held at the Four Seasons in Atlanta, Georgia.
The mission of the Foundation for Improvement of Justice, Inc. is to recognize innovative and effective works and/or programs whose efforts have made positive influential differences in the United States criminal and civil judicial arenas. The Foundation recognizes and awards up to seven nominees on an annual basis for successful accomplishments that can serve as a model for others.
