‘Riverfront Times’ Best of St. Louis 2010

St. Louis Partner Charlie Weiss has been named St. Louis’ best lawyer by the Riverfront Times. Each year, the publication releases its “Best of St. Louis” issue, listing the best of everything St. Louis has to offer. Work on this year’s issue began in July, covering over 400 categories, including a Readers’ Poll.

The publication referred to Weiss as a “rock star” in the legal world, noting that he, “...has appeared in more than 30 jury trials and been inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers - one of the legal sphere's most selective associations. He’s won cases for Boeing, KV Pharmaceuticals, Savvis, Maritz, and most notably McDonnell Douglas, on whose behalf he prevailed in suits against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Denmark.”

The 400-plus winners are listed in the Sept. 30 issue of the publication and will celebrate with a gala bash on Thursday, Nov. 4, at the City Museum downtown.

Weiss has more than 35 years of experience in business and complex litigation, representing numerous Fortune 500 companies and other clients in significant litigation matters involving class action, intellectual property, federal and state securities law, antitrust and unfair competition, product liability, fraud, employment discrimination, insurance overage, state and federal constitutional law, Latham Act and false and misleading advertising, software development, legal and accounting malpractice and breach of commercial and government contracts.
