The Network Journal '40 Under Forty' 2009

New York partner Kira P. Watson will be honored at The Network Journal’s 12th Annual “40 Under Forty” Achievement Awards Dinner, Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in New York City. 

The 2009 honorees represent entrepreneurs and professionals who have achieved significant levels of success in their careers and are respected business and community leaders.  The “40 Under Forty” program promotes mentorship and professional development, introducing these leaders as role models for young African-Americans.

Ms. Watson’s legal practice focuses on commercial litigation and internal investigations.  She is co-chair of the New York Office’s Recruiting Committee and is a member of the Diversity Steering Committee.  Ms. Watson serves as a board member of the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation and the Fordham Law School Minority Mentorship Program.  She received her J.D. from Fordham University and her A.B. from Bryn Mawr College.
