Amos Jones focuses his practice in international trade and commercial litigation. In addition to providing guidance on issues related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, he has counseled clients on matters arising from every provision of the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938 (FARA), including a Department of Justice Criminal Division inspection conducted under the FARA’s Books and Records regulations.
From 2006 to 2007, Mr. Jones served as Visitor to the Faculty of Law at the University of Melbourne Law School on a Fulbright Postgraduate Award in Australia. While in law school he served as an executive editor of the Harvard BlackLetter Law Journal and the Harvard Human Rights Journal. Mr. Jones is a 1999 Harry S. Truman Scholar.
