Adam Beckerink’s practice includes representing public and private companies in taxable and tax-free corporate reorganizations, asset and stock acquisitions, spin offs and restructurings. He regularly advises companies and executives on matters involving executive compensation, stock options and restricted stock. He also advises clients in matters involving state tax planning, federal and New York state audits, hedge funds and investment vehicles, real estate investment trusts, real estate mortgage investment conduits, partnerships and limited liability companies, like-kind exchanges, cooperative housing corporations and condominiums, in-bound foreign investments and tax-exempt entity qualification and taxation.
